How to Use the ROMAIN Honing Kit:
1️⃣ Neutralize the Edge: Run the blade lightly over a glass surface to remove any previous sharpness.
2️⃣ Apply Tape: Place electrical tape on the spine to maintain the correct sharpening angle.
3️⃣ Create a Bevel: Use the Coticulle Pyrenees of the ROMAIN stone until a fine, even edge appears #1200
4️⃣ Refine the Bevel: Switch to the Coticulle Blue and hone until the razor shaves arm hair easily #4000
5️⃣ Making of the Edge : Use the Coticulle Yellow and make the slurry with the slurry stone. Hone until the slurry turns grey, indicating progress.#8000
6️⃣ Rinse & Hone: Clean the Coticulle Yellow , then continue honing using only water.
7️⃣ Final Polish: Hone under running water to achieve a super smooth finish. take your time for this proces.
8️⃣ Strop: Strop the blade until it effortlessly cuts through hair.
9️⃣ Repeat if Needed: If the razor does not pass the hair test, return to Step 5.
🔟 Protect: Apply oil to the blade to prevent rust and preserve its sharpness.
